As a young entrepreneur, I’ve seen how local policies affect businesses and residents. I’m running to improve economic opportunities, public safety, and city services for everyone.2. What qualifications, experience, and leadership skills prepare you for this role, including crisis response, crime prevention, financial literacy, and public communication?Owning a business has taught me financial management, leadership, and crisis response. My experience at Chick-fil-A strengthened my public communication and problem-solving skills—both essential for serving Pasadena effectively.3. What are your top priorities for the first 100 days if elected, and which city policies or initiatives will you continue or change?Support Small Businesses – Simplify permits and increase local business contracts.
Infrastructure & Safety – Improve roads, drainage, and emergency response.

How do you plan to embrace the city of Pasadena, including uniting City Council, foster collaboration, and ensure transparency in your leadership while effectively representing all Pasadena constituents?I’ll foster collaboration by prioritizing open communication, engaging with residents, and making city decisions more accessible through modern technology and public meetings.5. What actions will you take to increase the number of city projects awarded to small and local businesses?I’ll push for policies that prioritize Pasadena businesses for city contracts and streamline the bidding process to make it easier for small businesses to compete.6. What is your vision for Pasadena’s economic development, including plans for the convention center, city-owned land, and infrastructure improvements to encourage business investment?Pasadena should attract new businesses while supporting existing ones. I’ll advocate for infrastructure improvements, better use of city-owned land, and revitalizing the convention center to boost local commerce.7. Business-friendly policies rank as the number one priority for chamber members. What are your plans to streamline the permitting process and improve ordinances to attract and support new businesses while also improving flexibility for development in Pasadena?I’ll work to simplify the permitting process, reduce unnecessary regulations, and create a more business-friendly environment that encourages investment and growth8. What are your plans for improving and maintaining Pasadena’s infrastructure, including roads, sewage, drainage, water supply, high speed internet, and the power grid?I’ll focus on fixing roads, upgrading drainage, improving water systems, and expanding high-speed internet to support growth and quality of life.9. How will you leverage modern technology to streamline city operations, improve efficiency, and prioritize long-term growth? What specific innovations or technology solutions will you implement to enhance public services, economic development, and infrastructure management in Pasadena?I’ll implement digital solutions to make city services more efficient, improve public access to information, and enhance economic development through smart infrastructure investments.10. Business and citizens alike require a secure city in which to work and live. What is your experience and plan for public safety for Pasadena?I’ll support our police and fire departments with better resources, invest in community policing, and work to reduce crime through smarter enforcement strategies.11. How can the city ensure adequate healthcare infrastructure, including mental health care, hospitals, doctors, and accountability in healthcare services?I’ll advocate for more healthcare partnerships, support mental health initiatives, and ensure accountability in local hospitals and medical services12. Access to talent and workforce is the number one challenge facing Pasadena businesses. What role should the government play in workforce development, including investment in training programs and partnerships with colleges and the ISDs?I’ll push for job training programs, expand partnerships with local colleges and ISDs, and ensure Pasadena businesses have access to skilled workers.
