Erika AdamsErika AdamsView Personal BioMike RathjeMike Rathje - Houston Branch Manager for Orphan Grain Train (OGT). Retired educator/administrator from Lutheran South Academy, Houston in 2016. A member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pasadena for over three decades. Volunteering as a relief worker after disasters, I saw OGT offer support to the Gulf coast region in many ways which led me to research their organization. After reading reports, and seeing the rating published by Charity Navigator (a non-profit evaluator) it was enough information to convince me and my wife, Marti, to volunteer our time in support of this ministry. Over 98% of all donations reach people in need, with only 2% towards administration and marketing. I look forward to OGT working with the Pasadena community and offering opportunities for volunteer service and provide relief when needed. Plans are in the works to build a Servant Center on the beltway in Pasadena. Visit ogt.org to learn more on Orphan Grain Train.Mike RathjeTell a Friend
