The Rose breast health center
Ongoing services to uninsured women and men
01/25/2023 - 01/25/2023The Rose Breast Cancer Center, Southeast Texas' leading breast cancer nonprofit, supports the uninsured in our community to ensure they have access to early detection, diagnostics and treatment if needed. Founded in Pasadena in 1986, we are one of Charity Navigator's Top 6 breast cancer charities nationwide. Funds help us ensure no one dies from breast cancer simply because they can't afford care.
Please make sure your employees, volunteers, patients, members, etc all know that we are here to serve uninsured women. There are resources available to help with screening mammograms, diagnostics and treatment. Remember that insured women coming to The Rose help fund our mission to serve the uninsured. We operate two breast centers and five mobile mammography coaches serving 43 counties in Southeast Texas.
If you are looking for a partner to raise funds for in October or would like one of our speakers for a lunch and learn or health fair, please reach out. The Rose also provides chemo kits for patients we diagnose. These items - lip balm, warm socks, hand lotion and more - are all helpful as they start their cancer journey. We accept donations of these items year-round.
