Dear Community Partner,

The Birthday Joy Program is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing birthday assistance
to children in the Greater Houston area including Harris, Galveston and Brazoria Counties. The
organization celebrates children living in disadvantaged situations such as foster care, homelessness
and poverty through

- birthday parties in three different shelters / residential treatment centers monthly;
- providing numerous parties in a bag to families directly and through partner
organizations throughout the Houston area;
- and partnering with 9 title one elementary schools to provide birthday joy to their
students.

The Birthday Joy Program is run 100% by volunteers. All of our budget goes directly to supporting our
initiatives and celebrating birthdays to the most vulnerable children in our community.
We are hosting a fundraiser, the Birthday Bash, on Saturday, October 14th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at
Billy’s Hall in Pearland, Texas. This event will include a dinner, live entertainment, auctions and raffles.
All proceeds from this event will go to support the mission of The Birthday Joy Program. We invite you
to mark your calendars and plan to attend this event!
We are looking for local individuals and businesses to assist us in our fundraising efforts. The event will
be advertised in our local community through flyers, social media blasts, and several community event
websites. To make this event a success in our community, we need your help! Will you help us by
allowing us to post flyers in your business? We are also in need of donations of all sizes for our
auctions and raffles. Donors will be recognized on our “Wall of Support” at the event. Additionally, your
donation will be listed on the event website and shared on our social media.
We also have a few different sponsorship opportunities available. Please see the attached sponsorship
paperwork for more information. We have attached the sponsorship form and confirmation of our tax
exempt status.
