The Rose will hold their annual Everything’s Coming Up Roses Luncheon on March 27, 2024. The event focuses on helping uninsured patients of the nonprofit get access to quality breast healthcare services. This year, the event will be held at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, and organizers hope to raise $400,000. The event is chaired by Janet Lionberger and will honor Nancy Collins Craig, a 15-year breast cancer survivor who focuses her efforts on educating women and men about the importance of early detection. Since 1986, The Rose has provided high-quality, patient-centered breast health care to all women, regardless of their ability to pay. Their mission is to save lives through quality breast health services, advocacy and access to care for all. As a leading nonprofit breast health organization in Texas, The Rose is a strong advocate for quality breast health care, a major part of the Healthcare Safety Net and serves 40,000 insured and uninsured women annually. Two Houston-based comprehensive Diagnostic Centers and four state-of-the-art Mobile Mammography Coaches provide services to women throughout 43 counties in Southeast Texas.
